Having the staff stand around with thumbs in their a$$es for 2 hours and then at the last minute hear them announce the 4000 meter dash two concourses away to the last flight out of the night doesnt sound to me to be professionally handled at all.

Whether one ended up with a hotel voucher due to a missed connection is irrelevant in my book (call me bitter - I was pushed to take a delayed flight to PHL to catch a flight to MAD last week and then told by the PHL ground staff it was my fault I missed the flight and had to pay $200 for a hotel room - AND spend a day in Philly that should have been in Barcelona - that alone should be a felony).

Sad any of this passes for either 'par' or fair treatment nowadays. How things have fallen.
