You may show your AA Sapphire card for additional benefits like lounge access etc.. Or are you hoping to be upgraded ??
I certainly don't plan to give them "attitude". I merely wondered if they will know by some sort of cross-reference what my OW status is without having me tell them. I sure would like them to be aware of my status beforehand, in case they need to upgrade people, etc. But I don't expect that to happen anyway.
I do have a BAEC number actually, but haven't earned any points at all since signing up last summer. Will having a very blue card with no activity up to now actually help me more than AA OW Saphire card?
In fact, I plan to switch to that number right before boarding (after I've enjoyed the lounge at IAD as an AA PLT

) so I can earn some BA points for what it's worth.
