Not sure maybe it would have to do with a lesser schedule. Even compared to my flying last year it seems a lot busier on most of my flights in October. Most of my flights have been looking for volunteers even. October never has been this busy to me in my last few years.

Anyone else encountering this?
I think it is industry wide, more travel overall, regardless of BE.

I have flown multiple UA, AA, Southwest flights and 1 flight on spirit, during peak business travel and also on weekends to leisure destinations. All flights packed. I have been on flights were the front is sold out, and the back is 1 person per row.

This BE experiment works fine when the economy is doing well, but during a weak economy, you will see Triple RDM and EQM.
