As long as your ticketed on on reservation, you’ll be fine. If it is a close connection, they usually have someone waiting at the plane door with your name on a sign to escort you.
You can also tell the flight attendants and they will let you sit up front just before landing to get off the plane quickly.
Also, at transit security, show them your itinerary/next flight boarding pass and they will let you cut the line.
If you do miss the flight, there’s one more to Tokyo in the evening. Longer layover sucks, but you can use the showers/nap area for free in the 4th Floor Rest & Relax area as a transit passenger. Also there is a Korean Cultural Experience exhibit where you can learn stuff and do some activities just to pass the time.
