I have taken flights into PHL, CLT, LGA, ORD, and LAX in Oct and almost every -one was extremely full. I did similar in July and Aug and it didn't seem nearly as busy. Not sure maybe it would have to do with a lesser schedule. Even compared to my flying last year it seems a lot busier on most of my flights in October. Most of my flights have been looking for volunteers even. October never has been this busy to me in my last few years.

Anyone else encountering this?

Seeing a lot more foot traffic in security and gates in general during afternoons but not sure if related. What time do you normally fly?

I use the same 6 am DFW and 5:30pm SNA routes consistently. I see a few more on the 5:30pm but as its the last flight out, I attribute any deviations to standbys.
