I've read on this board that the only way to check BA award avail (using AA miles) is through the BA website, which requires a membership in BA executive club (not so easy to get).
I wanted J tix for my parents from LHR>BOM, and had to call about 15 times before some were available for the dates we needed. Frustrating.
