My situation:

Flying EUGSJC on the QX nonstop with my partner. just learned I need to be in SF earlier in the day for work, which means QX/AS through PDX. I'm not concerned with the flight cost, just concerned that my partner might have issues with the itin if I am not there. I'd rather not pay the change fee for my ticket, but rather book a new one-way EUGSFO and have her remain on the pvs itinerary. What's the most drama-free option here? Call AS? No status but I fly them fairly often. TIA.
