Did you try a multi-city booking (choose business one way and coach the other) instead of two one-ways? Unfortunately, one-way international tickets are sometimes priced far higher (proportionally) than a round-trip because of rules on the fare classes that tend to yield cheaper tickets prices. I don't know if multi-city will help in your case or not...
