Oh at least confirm on the board, as you never know who is lurking. I am planning a trip for October with wife and kids (12 & 8). Have done plenty of England/London travel, but first timer to Ireland. Pleanty of *wood points, so tempted to base in Dublin at the Westin, however friends have suggested dropping that and heading south? General site seeing is what we are after, with kids in mind. Old castles and exhibits are a home run! Ideas?
