On the 787, row 1 window seats are the prime seats as even though they are noisier you get a wider footwell to compensate which helps with the narrow feeling. I love how quiet the 787 cabin can be given how few seats there are.

The 777 I only like if you can get two seats to yourself, otherwise I think it's too cramped and I don't like the idea of sleeping that close to a stranger (even BA's CW product is better as you can put up the screen and your head is further away from theirs due to the yin yang layout).

I haven't yet done Q-Suites but looking forward to it.
IIRC there's a screen you can put up between seats on the QR B777. It's not as tall or wide as the BA version but it prevents eye contact with your neighbour when one of you is trying to sleep with the seat in bed mode & the other is sitting upright.
