I don't think we have data points on this yet, but I would definitely send an SM and ask. I think the reps who handle that don't look at any account-specific details and just give the points. Besides, if you applied in early August, you still have until mid-November to meet the spend, and I would think that as long as you are in that window, they would give it to you.

Because I went on vacation before the card arrived, and have been finishing the min spnd on cards I got sooner, including another AA card, I actually haven't finished the min spnd. So yeah, I should be fine. Not knowing how Citi's staffing works, I'll wait until a weekday to SM.
