Charged for a car I did NOT pickup
Hi,
I am visiting Europe and booked a car. 2 hours before the pick up time I canceled it. Since I'm a Gold member they have my credit card on file. But after I canceled I see a pending charge of nearly $1000 on my credit card.
Can someone explain what's going on? I've reserved in France before and they've never charged me *before* the trip. I hope someone else did not pick up the car by pretending to be me.
