Crowne Plaza London Heathrow

What is your Priority Club status?
Spire Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2x Club double rooms, received 1x Club double and 1x Suite

How are the rooms?
28sqm for normal rooms, 56 for suites, with usual Crowne Plaza amenities. The rooms overlook carparks surrounding the hotel, but you wouldn't book the hotel for its views!

How is the exec. lounge?
Average size (around 4 rooms worth), with a selection of crisps, biscuits and fruit. There were a few canapes on offer too. Beer is available in a fridge in the evenings, soft drinks are available at any time.

What was good and what was bad?
Getting an upgrade to a suite was good - the extra space made for a very relaxing start to the holiday! The suites don't seem to be listed on the website, although "deluxe rooms" are, at the same price as club rooms. When I checked in, they said I'd been upgraded to a "deluxe room" although the IHG webpage showed one room was now a "1 King Bed Suite".

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
I booked one of the rooms as a "park, stay and go" 15-day package. The premium for that was only a few pounds over the regular price, and as it's the sort of parking where you keep the keys I reckon it's good value. This was my second stay here and I'll be back next time I have a morning longhaul flight.
