Using the ITA matrix would not work in this case because for AM redemption the award is issued on CX (160) stock, and the YQ / YR amount changes depending on which carrier's plate the ticket uses. I used Sabre and specifically assigned CX to be the issuing carrier to calculate the taxes. If you take a look at the following two fare quotes, you will see that the first one (MH plate) does not have YQ, but the second one does have YQ embedded in the XT line (bolded). Of course, you should still check with MPO / AM. If they don't include the YQ, you are lucky.
