Based on what I read on Canadian Kilometers, the BA Avios transfer rate was supposed to work out to 1:1.2 (25,000 HSBC points = 10,000 Avios)

I'd gladly pay the $150 AF if 25,000 HSBC points = 25,000 Avios when you can earn 3 HSBC points per dollar!!!
