In case anyone wants a more recent look at some rooms and suites at the Bristol, I did a head to head look at the Imperial vs Bristol while staying earlier this month at the Imperial:

There are photos of all the public spaces at the Bristol, as well as for many rooms, junior suites, and suites.

It's a nice hotel. Not in the same league of luxury as the Imperial IMO, but a very nice option (if dated in its room decor) for Vienna. It would be interesting to see a comparison and contrast between the Bristol and the Le Meridien, as well, I think.
