Silly me, I thought we were largely a few decades past the days when a business could advertise one thing, even state it on its website, in this case even on the redemption page itself, then apply something else entirely in the small print T & C. As I recall, the change occurred under the rubric of “Truth in ...” consumer laws. I have other cards where the “100x” formula was applied, but they never suggested otherwise in advertising or website. There’s no 100x stated or implied in “1.25 miles on every $1 purchase.”
