I like the lamp -- very cool looking and I agree the ability to swing out your tray to go to the bathroom is very functional.

That mezze plate unfortunately pales in comparison to QR's J version I enjoyed flying lax-doh earlier this year. The arrival "snack" is an embarrassment for an F product. Wow. A few wonder bread sticks?

That bathroom is small but I like the seat over the toilet--very handy for women putting on makeup I suppose. Did you really walk in the bathroom with wearing your socks?
I'm strugging to remember now but I think I wore the slippers into the bathroom but had to remove them when changing. Still, I'm sure that the bathroom floor was far cleaner than the grab handles inside the train transferring me between terminals.

Having just done this same route myself I would agree that the food in BA F was poor by comparison to their competitors - both in terms of content and presentation. I have had better meals in J on other airlines.

BA often have good fare sales so if you can pick up one of those I would still give them consideration.
I noted that there was no seatbelt in the 'buddy seat' although I did notice other passengers sitting with their friend/partner. Because it slides forward a little, you should be able to avoid hitting the fixed TV screen.

BA have a lot of award availability, but otherwise, I won't plan to fly their F product again. You certainly get better treatment in QR J, for example.
