AA batch processes - often on weekends - many miles reporting (some airlines, AAdvantage dining, etc.) so it could take as long as 8-10 days if the reporting has been correct.
I took 7 Finnair segments this year and they took between 6 and 14 days to post. I couldn't see any regularity and they did not all post same day of week (i.e. not all on weekends). At least they posted in orded.
