Unless I'm mistaken, an award reservation can be changed online within 24 hr after it was made without penalty (I have no status).

What I'm wondering is if it is possible to do this multiple times.

Specifically, I want to make a round-trip *A first class reservation for next Sep as soon as it becomes available. I don't want to make two one-way reservations due to the possibility of future changes.

My first preference would be outbound on Sep 15, for which I'm seeing availability now, and return on Sep 29, which will not show availability until Oct 28. However, I can adjust my schedule for any return date after Sep 24, which should become available on Oct 23.

My question is if Sep 24 shows availability, can I grab that on Oct 23 and then change it repeatedly online within 24 hr each time without having to pay a fee?

Not sure I will bother to do this even if it is possible, but I wouldn't mind knowing if it an option.
