I'm planning on hand carry my 27" iMac with me from Singapore - Melbourne. It certainly exceeds SQ's limit (I called and they said no), so I want to check if anyone has attempted to bring something of that size on board?

The iMac in the box is about 25cm x 60cm x 75cm, weight is 12kg.

I really don't want to check it in because it's fragile and who knows what they will do to it. I'm hoping they would let it slide for first class customer.

Any input would be appreciated!
