The Mariners started in 1977. We were a football town until 1995.

That's 18 years of being a football town. So far there has only been 8 years of being a baseball town.

I'm as dissappointed as anyone (I am a huge baseball fan - I lived through the hopeless Mets of the 70's when I lived back East).

However, However, there's always next year! It's kind of fun to see how badly the M's can choke every year!
