I am more worried about law enforcement at JFK and SDQ more so than Delta letting me check it and the TSA allowing it.

I know I can import the knives for personal use with no problems.

I googled it and I checked the airport authority in the Dominican Republic and couldn't find an answer. I think I'll be fine at JFK but I am worried at SDQ having to bribe someone to avoid jail.

So I thought I would ask here. I may just ship it via boat in a small box for 30 bucks but it will take 2 weeks to a month to arrive.
