I have flown with knives in a checked bag before years ago. I know times have changed, and I know airport to airport rules change. and this may not belong in the Delta forum but since the flights on delta figured I'd ask here.


I have a JFK > SDQ Flight

I want to bring an awesome set of kitchen knives over to my home over there. It was a last minute buy and I don't want to spend the 250 FedEx quoted me.

Can I check the knives with no issues in JFK and have no issues in SDQ? I am more worried about local law enforcement than anything else.
