This feels like a novice question (okay, okay, it *IS* a novice question!) that I'm sure has been asked before, but I've searched and can't find it.

If I book DL metal on an AF or KL code, can I still select Comfort+ seatings as a DL PM (soon to be DM)? Europe flights don't use Comfort+ as a separate booking class, you just select the seat after booking. But is this allowed if you book the AF or KL code?
