Stayed there for 6 nights earlier this month. The rate I had booked included lounge access and they had put me up in the top floor. The entire hotel was rather dark, more reflective of its 80s style decor that had been updated but still was dark. My contact in Ottawa told me it had been a Fourseasons ages ago...

Anyway, Ian in the lounge is really nice, the offerings up there are OK and probably above par for a N. American hotel lounge. Breakfast downstairs was pretty good and very reasonably priced. The hotel was filled with European tour groups who packed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel has a killer location if you have to be in that business/government area. For vacationing it has not much to offer.

Interestingly the key cards were branded by Marriott....
