I can understand that CX differentiated weather problem causing the pax to be downgraded into a 2 class only flight...But , when CX changed aircraft before and downgraded me ( 2 or 3 times from F to C ) , they came out with
cash payment ( US$150 I think ) , offered to be paid in either HK$ or US$ .
And this was on paid and award tickets , no difference , for the short flights
from HKG to BKK .
