It probably means AM will look at the underlying fare class to determine whether to give you 25/75/100 (instead of flat 75).

Let us know what AM says. I've never tried it but in Nov my parents + aunt are going to fly HKG-LAX in C (N fare + SWU) and I put their AM numbers in the system. If it won't earning anything, i'm going to open BA accounts for them.
