Long term residents looking for a staycation in the City of Angels use different choice criteria (ie. chose the Ren for a New Years Eve stay to be close to Central World party)

My choice is based on cost, but it's kinda loose. Of the three, now four, Bangkok FS Marriott properties, the JW has been the cheapest a couple of times. $40-50 US is the price difference where I consider the CY. Prices being equal, the Soi 57 is still my first choice, given it's quieter, they always give me a great UG and it's easy to get on the BTS. QP Marquis is a close second, with the distance to BTS being my only gripe. The Ren is third and the JW fourth, which may change if the renovations improve the rooms and bathrooms. All five properties have outstanding service, making that a non-differentiator.
