Datapoints will always be from the past. Only datapoints regarding "instant" approval/denials can possibly be anywhere very close to the present.

But to date no other bank that I'm aware of has counted business cards as the same "product" as personal. Citi doesn't with its 24-month product family languge, BofA doesn't with its new 2/3/4 rule, Amex doesn't with its "lifetime" limit. So if Chase were to do this, it would be the first.

So I would hesitate to interpret this rumor this way. Either assume not, or wait for facts, not just rumors.
