I have posted this query on the TG board, but since it equally involves QF, I am hoping that someone here might also be able to help.

On my next trip to BKK I will be spending my last 2 days in HKG, where my problems begin. I expect to be returning to BKK on the TG607 due to arrive into BKK at 22.25.

I am looking to connect with the QF1 BKK to LHR which departs BKK at 00:20.

Ideally I would like to avoid having to clear immigration at BKK collect my baggage and then recheck for my QF Flight (since this could give me a very tight turnaround).

What are my chances of getting TG in HKG to through check my baggage to LHR? Or failiing this what are my other options. In case it makes a difference, I am booked in F with TG and J with QF and hold Gold Tier Status with BA (OneWorld for QF) and LH (*A for TG).

My other option seems to be to take advantage fo some cheap TG fares in J or F and keep my QF Ticket to use another time, however I am not sure how this works with flight timings, and since I will be working in LON on the morning of my arrival, I really need to sleep on the return journey and have access to showers and changing facilities at LHR.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
