I think you are right - makes sense to me... (I'll see it happen on my "Independence Day" travel on a YUP fare, my EXP qual legs this year.)

My question stems from my 1) ignorance, and 2) that a walk-up full Y fare can actually be twice as much as a YUP fare purchased in advance
