NO! It's weather related problem. These things happen. You may try... but oh please.. I was on a flight that was diverted to TPE due to typhoon and we had to stay overnight. I missed meetings...and connecting flights. CX flew us out the next day.. c'est la vie. CX was very professional about everything.
And CX did all they could for you.. and their contract to you was to bring you to your final destination. Which they did. If you had a fullfare ticket, CX would of course give you a refund. But if you're on aRTW, oh well...these things happen.. and you're not the only one who missed the connecting flights.
