So what i mean is you consistently obeyed the 6/6 and 8/65 soft and hard rules, have been apping for cards, reducing CL to 2K, and closing some of them along the way
And by doing that, have you been always and still are successful? Or have you hit a snag and be approved for any more cards? (perhaps for the reason no more credit can be extended to you etc - maybe bc too many 2K have been wasted and used up)
I personally have not hit a wall following that plan... Essentially it goes:
1. Pick a mailer from my stockpile.
2. Apply.
3. Wait 3 hrs-3 days, get approval email.
4. Get card in 10-14 days.
6. SM for higher bonus match.
5. Meet spend.
6. Pay off balance, lower credit limit to $2k.
7. 32 days after step 1, begin process again.
8. Once approved and new card in hand, cancel old card.
I am not sure about anyone else, and I've only go through 5 cycles so far, but the above is still working. I expect the gravy train to end any day, but until I get a decline I'm going to ride this out for the foreseeable future.
