Should I ask for an upgrade voucher?
I'm just curious, Emerald here. I keep thinking about it, but always end up putting it off. My last F flight got caught in headwinds from LAX-HKG and refeuled in TPE. This made me miss my connection to another 744 BKK flight in F and was downgraded to J due to different equipment plus a 6+ hour wait for that next flight. As always, fantastic service in all the planes and in the F lounge, took a shower, ate, literally passed out standing, etc. I was never approached for it, nor did I asked for anything, but should I have?
Should I ask for an upgrade voucher (for a future purchase) when I check in on CX later on, or write to them in HKG now? Should I do nothing? Thoughts?
