Been perusing here many times for a few years, so I thought I may as well join the fray...

In a few days I have a trip going from SEA-ORD-FRA-VCE, most of it on Lufthansa, but booked using United miles. I know there is a direct flight from SEA-FRA, but I am traveling alone and had the opportunity to book on a 747-8i's in the first class cabin, so I took it. I am looking forward to that new 747 as much as I am Venice. I have heard Lufthansa's first class offering is pretty swanky.

Then on the way home, I go VCE-FRA-EWR-SEA, but in Polaris Business Class.

Most layovers are three hours, with the longest being five in Frankfurt on the way to Venice.


Question to the wise ones...what are the best lounges to visit? I am especially interested in Frankfurt considering on the way there, i'll be there for five hours.
