I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with United Mileage Plus selling the email address of their frequent flyers. Most reputable companies have privacy policies and from what it appears I think United may have broken theirs.

I use an email system that allows me to assign each mailing list subscription a separate email address, thus I am able to know how a sender received my email address.

Did anyone else receive a spam with the subject "FW: Take a breather" tonight on a United Mileage Plus email address?
