For anyone considering the BUD-CKG option then just be weary of the cost of flights from CKG.
HKG or KUL (potentially MFM or ICN) are the cheapest at circa £100-150 + (Avios works with CX or MA here - fantastic deal in J potentially) but anywhere else not Intra-China is more and a lot more money compared to other airports in the region...
This obviously compares with sub £50 from AK or MM for some intra-asia routes.
