I regularly make return trips from Bilbao to London with BA. I always book flights through Iberia as a codeshare (for some reason, this is always cheaper, especially in CE) unless I book as a reward flight.

Now usually I mix the 'business promotional' and economy 'classic' fares together because I always need at least 1 checked bag. However, for my travel during the Christmas period I booked a 'business promotional' fare on the way there and a 'basic fare' i.e. hand baggage only returning. I'm aware that booking through BA, you can't combine fares with checked and no checked luggage, and assumed that when booking a basic fare through Iberia I would have no allowance, however, when going to select my seats through BA I notice that under baggage it states "2 checked bags at 32kg".

Would anybody be able to confirm if, indeed, I do have a checked allowance for my return flight? If so, this is useful to know because I could have saved myself a fair amount of money over the past year!!
