No you won't get the points for the last leg.
As for 'consequences' unless you do it on a regular basis then BA isn't going to go after you.
But be aware that BA is and has cracked down on short checking bags to try and prevent people from doing this and whilst it is possible to get your bags offloaded from your final flight this is not necessraily a quick process. see this post for example from today

Penalties discussed (but not necessarily implemented) when your question has been previously asked include BA closing your BAEC account and demanding that you put your first born into servitude working as mixed fleet cabin crew. Some would regard the former as more serious a loss than the latter
