We flew C+ in September. When the beverage cart came by, I didn't even bother to think that I probably could only ask for red or white wine. I asked for a rum & Coca Cola. The flight attendant was very nice about it. She even asked me if I wanted two small bottles of rum in my cup.
The official change didn’t go into effect until early this month, so unless you were in one of the very few test markets out of ATL you were given what C+ gets. Now basically C+ is to be told they’ll accommodate time permitting which to me means after everyone else is served.....then maybe they remember and/or have time to come back to you. Major downgrade for C+ pax at the expense of being able to get Basic E pax a water or coffee :/
