I did a search, but I don't think it cleared up my questions.

I am currently Gold til the end of Feb 2005. IF I wanted to take a PLT challenge right now (lets say it ends in Sept), and I achieve PLT status, it is only good til February 2005?

As of right now I only have YTD Elite Qualifying Miles: 14,872, and I have a west coast trip next month, so that should put me around 20,000 (I need 25,000 Qualifying MILES for Gold correct?) I could easily make GLD again next year probably, but I would like PLT
