These seats have issues. Shaky seats whenever the seat neighbor operates the power controls for their seat, very little storage, movable privacy dividers that don't move - to name a few. There's a whole 30-page thread (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/amer...eat-seats.html) about them.
And yes, some people don't like facing backwards.
