Flying SMF-DEN-EWR later this week, and was offered an immediate buy-up on both legs for $210. No brainer, I'll take it thanks.

In the 3 minutes it took to complete the transaction, the SMF-DEN seat was gone (there was only 1 avail), but I was charged the full buy-up amount and reticketed in Y on that leg. Res now shows "CPU requested" and of course, since buy-up are non-refundable, I'm playing the waiting game.

Anyone had this happen before? I searched the buy-up thread but didn't see any experiences.
