Anyway they don't need ACARS to send the g-loads back to base, it's all over the world's media! Ironically it's good for the airline as the uninitiated self-loading freight everywhere are saying what a great job the Emirates pilots did.
Yeah, as I said I don't think it was a great landing - but neither was it the opposite.

The system I referred to is "ELOM", I presume it is a module that somehow is linked to or part of the ACARS, I'm not really familiar with it beyond that it exists.
