No hesitation from an EK pilot I spoke to who said there'd be no repercussions.
The EK aircraft have an electronic monitoring system that automatically transmit significant events, such as significant g-loads, vertical speeds, speed warnings, etc. to the bosses, so if that threw up an alert there'd be repercussions (we don't know if it did).
Comparatively the EK131 incident saw the flight crew immediately grounded and flying back to DXB as pax, not even operating the return leg.
