I'm sure there's a thread for this but I couldn't find it.

The recent thread about GS got me thinking along with the club apologist who mocked me for not wanting to run around SFO to find a club I could enter.

I am a 1K MM United flyer who should be the same next year. My Club CC renews in Feb and I think I am letting it go. I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve that just renewed and I will use it for Global Entry renewal next year. That plus the $300 travel credit makes it worthwhile to keep.

The GS thread made me think about my times in UCs. DEN is my home airport and for the most part, those clubs are acceptable. LHR is fabulous but I think I have entry anyway when flying business as a *G. As for the rest, I wish I had kept track of the number of times I have walked in and then out of UCs in the last year because of overcrowding. Definitely any time I was at IAH. Then there's the find a club game at ORD this year and as it turns out SFO now. No good memories at IAD as well.

And not to mention the fee increase for the coming year. I will only miss the friendly faces at DEN. Hmm, do I get in if on an INTL business ticket even if domestic hasn't been upgraded(yet another fave move from United) ?

I think I'll keep track of what I spend in food and drink once I no longer have access to the clubs - should be interesting.
