Last spring I flew China Southern on two seperate round trip journey's from PEK to GMP. Unlike China Eastern, their website is easy to use (I just use CTrip if I need to book a flight on China Eastern), and you can pay with WeChat. Also, my flights had no change fees, I didn't need to utilize that, but it is one of the reasons when I am in the US, I will use Southwest. I don't mind a small change fee, about ten years ago US carriers charged like $50 to change a ticket, but a large change fee on an expensive ticket is a rip off.
