As noted, officially it is "no guests" but as far as I know only GVA sticks to that rule, and they are an out-station with a particularly high number of status travellers. Everywhere else you are unlikely to have a problem take a guest or two through Priority Boarding. Fast Track specifically allows 1 guest, as does lounge access.
Does that mean I am unlikely to get a POUG from GVA? What about ZRH? I would have thought it was full of status pax too.
I have never had a problem taking a non status pax with me through priority boarding on other airlines. But I did have a bad experience once at LH check in at MAD for having a non status pax with me. Was this sort of rudeness really necessary? Before travelling, you have to put your raincoat on, so to speak, and try and remain cool and nice (every time I have done so I have felt sooo much better afterwards). So one answer is, despite all the positive experiences recounted here, you never truly know what will happen because every trip is unique. But there's a 95% it will be fine!
