I almost always check my laptop power cord in with my checked luggage. I've never had an issue including my flights last Thursday. I've checked mice and USB cables never with an issue.

On a recent TPAC flight Korean Air would not let me carry a portable charger battery in my checked luggage. They contacted me at security and arranged to give the battery to me at the gate to put in my carry on.
